Our office has helped thousands of clients create effective and efficient estate plans to assure that the assets born of a lifetime’s effort are distributed according to their wishes with minimum administrative delay and maximum estate tax efficiency.
Wills and Trusts
We understand the issues facing our estate planning clients and their families and craft a plan, and set of planning documents to solve those issues. Whether a simple “I Love You” Will or a Child, Grandchild or Supplemental Needs Trust, we have the experience and knowledge to accomplish the client’s goals.
The Living Documents
Perhaps even more important than having an up to date Will or Truste, everyone should have a Durable Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, DNR and Appointment of Guardian. These basic, but powerful documents are designed to help a client’s family deal with an ill, impaired or injured loved one. These documents allow for payment of bills, authorization of health care, selection of an appropriate care setting or facility and, if needed, Medicaid and Estate planning.
Often overlooked is the need for these living documents for adult children, our over 18 college students, our young family members embarking on a career: if over 18 they are adults and legally emancipated.
